Am I old skool?
Hello,
I know this will bring up a wide, well, can or worms, but I have a simple question. Am I old skool in that I like to run clinchers as opposed to tubeless on my road bike?

Most people still use clinchers.

Tubeless are clinchers but not all clinchers are tubeless. "Tubular" is completely different and not practical for your typical rider.

No pinch flats. Small punctures usually seal without losing much air. But, if you do get a flat, it gets a little messy.

Back in the 90's, I had a source for 300 gram training tubulars for $8.00. I rode tubular wheels for years, then my source dried up. Tubular are easy to put on and glue once you get used to it. When I flatted on a ride, I would just pull off the bad tire and put a new tire on. Downs sides included that you were only good for two flats and then you were screwed. Also, you had to take it easy on corners and downhills after an on road tire change. I read here somebody was adding orange seal to their tubulars. I am going to try that and see how well it works.
