The hybrid forum has one, so why not the road forum. Include some pics.

64 miles in an event on beautiful backroads in Washington County, MD. First ride on new Look Blade pedals after many years on Speedplay.

I went on this 25mi ride this morning along a local MUP. This is a new personal distance record for me (I just started road biking within the last month). Here's a pic at the end of the MUP. It wasn't quite as scenic as I'd hoped, but the weather was perfect and I'm proud that I only rested once (to take this pic) and then made it all the way back

I went on a 53 mile memorial ride for a deceased member of our club. After his diagnosis he and his wife rode a tandem across the country. His widow was there today. See a 2 minute documentary about him while still alive, here:

Today I rode 50.8 miles from San Jose to Sunnyvale with some small hills, I used the Guadalupe trail near the airport. Avg speed was about 13 mph, i like to enjoy my ride at a moderate pace. I saw a rooster making noise in a parking lot. The weather was nice and warm, also I saw the new 49ers stadium finally built. Till next time.

I went on a quick 10 mile ride around the neighborhood with my wife last night, trying to get her legs strengthened up so we can ride longer distances together.
I can't make myself eat mcdonalds anymore...a few weeks ago, we were cleaning out my wife's truck and found half a mcdouble under one of the car seats. It looked exactly the same as the day it was bought except the bread was hard and the meat was hard and waxy looking....there was no smell, no rot, nothing. The problem was, she figured it had been a month or more since she took the kids to mcdonalds...what the hell do they put in those things???? Nothing I want to eat!!!

^^ Great shot great area.
I did 40k around the rural area I live in. There's nothing but empty dirt roads cattle sheep and grain fields also got onto the national highway 1 that's totally empty late at night and visited a town, got home at 2.00am in freezing cold.

Nothing as exotic as some of these other trips. Last night I was wanting to do a normal 22 mile loop I do solo a few times a week & with a group ride once a week from an LBS but ended up riding a whole 3 miles with my 9 year old. We just rode to a church and rode around the parking lot, up & down the stairs (yes, that was correct... up and down on bike) in the lot but that better time spent than the 22 miler.

My kids found petri-fried (pun intended) french fries in the car and ate some. Didn't seem to bother them much (some drooling but no vomiting, think they got a buzz from some of the preservatives). Ironically it was on a trip to the LBS to get stuff for a ride later that day...
