Winter build is done.

After giving my Zipp2001 single speed to my youngest son at the end of last year I was looking to do a new twist on my other Zipp2001 this year. I sent my Zipp2001 TT bike to the painters and started the process of researching the Gates Carbon Drive System. After deciding that's the way I wanted to go it was off to the bike shop to get everything ordered. I decided to update some of the older parts like the stem, handlebars, and crank while I was at it. I liked the way it came out and will be doing a little shakedown ride weather permitting tomorrow.

I'd end up in traction, on a bike like that.

But it's a beautiful example. Lovely paint; very unique.

I've used the same painter (Hot Tubes) for other jobs and his work is always great..

Custom rubber tire letters from Tirestickers.com , you can have them say whatever you want. I wore my last set of tires out before the letters failed.

Do you use TT bars or just ride it with your hands on the bars?

I recently sold my HED 3 wheel when I sold my TT bike. It was a solid ride.

Can't avoid hills where I live, so you have to learn to love them. I just have to get up to speed to help roll over the bigger hills, and drag my old Clydesdale body over them. Thanks ! the paint is super Killa as we say in New England.

I'd be in traction for a month just riding the thing ... and now you remove the bars and ride anyway?

Brave soul. You're my hero.

No rear brake? I don’t see the caliper, nor cable coming off the RIGHT lever.
