Picked up some Twin Six Standard bibs -
....and then I learned the problem of "rounding out" the apparel with something better than what's already in place - you'll want to replace everything that's already in place.

Just arrived in Austin TX on Thursday for the month, got ready to ride, the gloves I brought were both left hand. Off to Performance, bought a pair on sale with an extra 15% off.
That didn't fix the problem of forgetting the charger for my headlight!

Interocitor Command
My first order from Chain Reaction Cycles across the pond as they say ...
1) a pair of Shimano Saint pedals for my Roam-2
2) a pair of cheapo 700x32 tires for my Roam-2
3) an inexpensive FSA seat post for my Specialized Secteur parts bike
Hopefully, I won't get hit with any dootie charges.

I like it - material feels/looks nice (it looks somewhat plain in pics, but a little more lux irl), fit and finish is very good, the cut works well for me (somewhere between race and club, so not baggy but not a second skin). I've read of complaints of snagging, but I've got a Swobo jersey with a more open waffle weave and haven't had a problems, so I don't know what these other guys are riding through.
Today is the last day of their summer sale, which will get you that 30% off of your order.
Another consideration for you might be the Twin Six Standard Jerseys - I think that they're at $115 retail (the wool versions are $160-ish, iirc), solid colors, minimal branding. I've been wanting to pick one up, but haven't run across one to try on at an LBS. Their HQ is about 5 miles away from me though, and I've been told that I'm welcome to try on some stuff there, so I might do that sometime this summer.

Had my eyes on these since about 2011. Considering I'm out of commission for most of this cycling season I figured now is the time to do a new build since I'm not riding anywhere anytime soon.

I've only got one ride in on this one so far, so only initial impressions.

I have two Twin Six jerseys and they are part of my regular rotation. Got them for $58 off the REI clearance rack.
What you say about the SAS being between club and race cut is appealing. I'll probably miss the sale though.
Thanks again.

Twin Six 'The Standard' jerseys or the more typical Twin Six jerseys with fun designs/color schemes? My understanding is that they're cut a little differently and the material is better on The Standards. If you found those at REI, I'll have to trawl the racks there, too.
