I just hang mine from the bars. My son, who commutes to HS, runs a cable through the straps for security.

ask a teacher if you can leave it in their room until time to go. most of them would be glad to do it

Holy Zombiethread, Batman!

The OP who needed this advice for school has long since graduated from that school and probably the next one by now!

I was just out of high school when this thread started. Since then, I've earned a bachelor's degree, got married and completed a master's degree. I'm now working at an ad agency and doing just fine. Thanks for asking. What was the question?

The guy who resurrected this thread is resurrecting a lot of weird threads about helmets.

But more importantly -- now I wonder what crazyed27 did to get banned -- he's not listed in the banned user list and his last post was relatively mundane. Unsolved mysteries...

Something the mods didn't like. However, the question is old but not outdated. One could ask the same question in a new thread.

OP put his helmet up on eBay a couple years ago after it became excessively sweat-encrusted. The re-animator bought it.

Hi everyone. I want to thank everyone for the great advice. I ended up putting my helmet on my bike lock because as someone said, no one wants to steal a used helmet.

To give a small update- I’ve finished school, started working, and met an amazing girl who I’m going to marry. Thanks to everyone for the replies. It was great getting the notifications.

Geez, patience! Give 'em a couple weeks to adopt. They'll have their own bikes by spring. By next fall, they'll be off to college.....
