No Joy in NW Florida tonight, best of luck with getting on a new server service Kurt. Can't get by without a fix of VB regularly.

Shucks. And here I was going to waste a few minutes looking at shiny bike parts.

Still down at the moment.

Now it says it is down for system recovery, hopefully it gets all back up and running without a loss of data. Love that site, you don't realize how often you go until you can't get in!

Message changed recently. I'd mentioned this being down a few days ago also in an unrelated thread - someone was asking for a rim ID. Glad to see @cuda2k working on it.

(edit) Jon! I got in the door super-early with Dreamhost while they were still in infancy and have a grandfathered virtually unlimited-space/unlimited-bandwidth reseller account. Have pro-bono space I've offered to NPOs for 15-something years. Will PM you with more details in case it's interesting.

"VeloBase.com is currently offline for system recovery. We should be back shortly."

This is the message I got this morning and it is still the message up this evening. Really hope it comes back as it is a great resource.

For those of you approaching inconsolability, there are a couple of snapshots on the Wayback Machine. Roll the dice and see if what you want to view was captured here: https://web.archive.org/web/20190318....velobase.com/

Hey all, sorry it took a while but VeloBase is BACK. I've been having problems with spam/bots and unfortunately work and other commitments haven't allowed me to put the time into the site that I've wanted to for quite some time. I am however committed to keeping VeloBase.com up and running for the C&V community that I so love. I will be looking for a couple of assistant admins for the site in the next few weeks/month just to help me keep tabs on things. The site pretty much runs itself these days short of the spam in the forum issues that I'm currently trying to resolve.

Yet another "thank you" post from me! I've wanted to identify some Campagnolo brifters for a week now, and finally it is possible!

I just want to echo what the others have said. I don’t think I’d have completed any of my restorations if it wasn’t for VeloBase. Thank you very much!
