Bike trails near LA / OC

Hi everyone,

Are there some bike trails that are more challenging then beach trails or city commuting near LA/OC (Santa Monica, LA, Torrance, Norwalk, Fullerton, Cerritos, Long Beach, and near cities)

I usually bike on beach bike trails (venice/santa monica/long beach/etc) or to commute to any starbucks/cafes that are 10-15miles away (im one of those annoying freelancers, who works at a cafe not at home)

itís still challenging but mainly bc of safety issues not challenging enough physically. (People looking to their right not left and jumping into street/traffic or jaywalking, or angry drivers)

I want to try hills and all sorts of things.. the strava segment doesnt look accurate or doesnt show the whole trail..

anything would help..!
thank u!

Try the loop through New Port , Irvine , Laguna Canyon and back onto PCH to get back to start point .
