What Are These?
These cranks came off my latest project, an early 90's Softride. I can't figure out what they are, the rest of the groupset is 600 Tricolour. The cranks are hollow and have what looks like a proprietary spline-drive BB. Any ideas?

Cannondale cranks. Think they called them Coda or something like that.

Yep, they are 90s Cannondale Coda cranks. Probably mid-to-late 90s. There were a few versions for both road and mountain, some very collectible. Yours might be "Magic" cranks.

These look like Magic Motorcycle cranks. Made on Whidbey Island, Washington State.
Later sold the design to Cannondale to make there cranks
Very cool machining! And probably valuable to the rite person

Can you take a better photo of the text on the inside, near the crank tips?
BMX cranks came with 8 splines, but I believe somewhat different.

yup, coda magic motorcycle cranks. Sell 'em on ebay. They are rare weird and beautifully made.

^As above and rare. Treat with care as some were known to fracture, though others abused and never having issues. Research Alex Pong - Magic Motorcycle - Cannondale. Quite a character.

Thanks gentlemen, I guess it makes sense since Softride was in Bellingham and these were produced right next door. I have inspected them and they have no stress cracks.
