One of the shows I've missed since dropping cable is Drunk History. I'm getting caught up on Hulu, however. Still funny.

Been binging the 1st season of the Sopranos on Amazon, have never seen it before. Was struck by the blaring presence of Morphine in episode 9, a very favorite band of mine. I knew the show started in 1999 so wondered if it were a tribute to the singer who died that year, but wiki sez the episode aired in March 99 and the singer died in July. Timely enough, anyway.

Love Paget Brewster in Drunk History and anything. Anything with Paget Brewster, I will love. Even Criminal Minds, which pretty much sucks.

Finished the Sopranos yesterday. First season, brilliant. Second season, possibly also brilliant. After that it kind of plateau'd at a lower cruising altitude. Generally great, really glad to have watched it all. 4th season was a bit of a drag for us. My wife totally does not think Tony is dead at the end, and I am inclined to agree. Some of the show was kind of meta referencing the Godfather and other stuff. I have never been big on other mafia flicks except for Godfather (Goodfellas etc...) Also except for Journey I dig Tony's taste in music.

Been watching Into The Badlands. Gotta say, the action and plot has me wrapped up in the show. At first I thought it was just another kung-fu type show. But over the past couple of seasons I've become invested in the characters and plot.

Stargate Universe (SGU) only because there's nothing else on and I've reduced my subscription to Amazon Prime video only. They've got some really crappy movies (mostly foreign), but there's a few OK ones also in the mix.

SGU can be frightfully annoying at times (so many simple things they get wrong), but its not as bad as I remember it. I guess that's because I've learned to use 10 sec jump a lot more lately.

If anyone watched it, there's so much Battlestar Galactic in this show they really should include it in the credits. I want to kill the man that invented the shaky cam...slowly.

Speaking of TV show here's a list of the ones that you can continue to watch and the ones you need to say goodbye to. Too bad I don't know most of them so I have little to lose.

Still, it always appears that the most intelligent ones get the ax while the brain-dead shows (stupid cop shows) just keep getting renewed over and over. I guess they're giving the people what they want. Now I remember why I cancelled cable.

I finished ep2 of s5 and am also enjoying. Unfortunately my wife fell asleep during the first 10min of ep2 so I have to now wait for her to catch up before watching ep3.

We need to know why Timmy? Give us at least one legitimate thing you liked about it.

Was it the plot, the story, or the dialogue? The selection of characters, or how they interact with one another? Was it the casting? What about the cinematography, the acting or the directing? If you say it was "good', what about it made it good?

I've been getting in to the original X-Files series. Man what a great show. Watching the episodes takes me back to when friends and I would get together on Friday nights, turn out the lights, and creeped out. And yes, always great to see Dana Scully again

I recently got to see the episode "Home"... It never reran after the initial showing. It was kinda grim, but nowhere near as disturbing as I had been led to believe. Maybe I've just become more jaded in the 20 years in between...
