I waited 50 years to get in this forum....

Okay, not rally, I made it to 50 today, so I guess I earned it somehow. Anyway, I'm sure I'll post in here some now and again. Just to answer a few questions that seem to be asked: Yes, I have been riding bikes mostly since 2008, I have three bikes and am building a forth, and, I don't like pie, I love pie!!!

Welcome to 50+! You now have 15 more years of Middle Adulthood before moving into Older Adulthood. Keep on riding and enjoy the ride!

Wife made both pumpkin and chocolate pie for T-giving meal. Sorry, there is none left to share with the 50+ forum.

You qualify by virtue of being above ground. Welcome to the older and more dastardly riders group.

Hey, my wife made pumpkin and chocolate, too! Well, the pumpkin was more like a pile of whipped cream with a pumpkin pie middle...

Pumpkin and pecan here, a chocolate wouldn't have been a bad idea, either. We send the left overs home with everyone since we don't eat any sugary foods. One slice of Pecan Pie, my favorite, was this year's allowance, it was fantastic, Monica is a world class baker of pecan pies!!! BP, the whipped cream sounds excellent to me.

I'd ride an extra hill (or two) for pecan pie!

I put on a few pounds, (OK more like 15) actually hit Clydesdale weight for a day or two, but still riding never the less. Good to see you back at it too!

I'm building a hardtail mountain bike. It's a present I gave to myself for my 50th.

Its my "go-to" pie chioce, only ask for a slice once a year, now. Monica makes them from scratch (all her baking is done this way, thankfully.) My birthday choice is pecan, not a cake eater, ever. I limit myself out of fear of getting back to my former fitness and health levels. Once upon a time, I could eat a pie by myself, in 2 days, not any more, EVER! Fortunately, we can send pie slices home with family members after the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners we host, Monica's pies and baked goods are in high demand around here, for a good reason, too.
