I use Performance's Viewpoint Flare lights. One at dusk, two at night. Darn fine light for fifteen bucks or less apiece.

20w halogen up front, soon to be replaced by 10w of leds. 1w led, 10deg optic at the rear.
In the summer I don't need 20w of halogen, so I run some white led blinky, 5mm x 5

i have the cateye in the OP's post but despise its flexible strap mount system. most of the time i just loop an old toestrap around it and the headtube and yank it tight.

Front: Niterider Dual Mini Newt (same as MIN's bike).
The thing rocks. On 'flash' mode, people in nearby buildings are irritated enough to say 'OK, we GET it, we can SEE you!'. Riding on the boardwalk, drunks wave their hands in front of their eyes and say 'whoa whoa whoa whoa, I'm getting a headache man!'
Rear: Planet Bike SuperFlash
So bright you can't even look at it directly in full daylight. $20 or so, great deal. I have the new 'stealth' version that's black with a white lens cover and red LEDs.
