Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

No. Campy has had these wheels out a long, long time. They are fairly bullet proof (and heavy).

Yes. My HALO retro-reflective Velocity Fusion rims looked better without them.

I pulled 6/13 off each of my Rolf road wheels.

On these, I need to get some superglue to get the stickers back down on there...

There must be other concerns that better epitomize the first-world problem, but none spring to mind.

Removing the decals is illegal. You have been warned.

Depends on the bike & wheels. Mavic Ksyrium SLs on my Look came off, cleaner look on this bike. Mavic Kysriums on my Cannoadale stayed, this wheel set is black with chrome stickers on an orange frame, just looks right.

When I can afford some Fulcrums - Yes

My 90s Campy Zondas, Pacenti PL23s or Mavic Open 4cd - No

I wouldn't mind some deep China Carbon wheels with big ass BORA COSMIC ZIPP AMERICAN CLASSIC decals all the way around.

When a company gives me hoops to tryout I leave the decals on, but if I pay for them the decals get removed.
