SRAM Eagle XX-1 around 85 bucks, best price I could find for the Eagle PowerLocks was ~$7.50 a pop, and there would be what? Half the total number of links? Let's call it 60 of 'em.
So if'n ya ain't sponsored, that's in the neighborhood of $550.
Pains me that not all of the links are connected in the same direction.

If you are going to spend $550 on a chain, we gotta get the labor hours up to match and have something to show for it.

Well, it simplifies things if you want to use this chain cleaning procedure.

You really can't make a chain entirely of master links as they are only the "outside" (female) part of a link. The inner parts (male) would have to be sourced from a regular chain.

You guys clearly have way too much time on your hands. I understand. I really do. Between covid and generalized craziness, a certain level of cabin fever is understandable. But why not fill the time with something more productive. Like pop-top macrame.

Totally agree. This video popped up on my YouTube feed and I just ignored it. Total waste of time and an insult to the intelligence of Seth's viewers.

I should try that with mine, I never use them, and I think I have enough for a whole chain.

Almost as silly as the all half-link chains.
