26" x 1 1/8" continental Gatorskin/Duraskin +k tires

Handmade in Germany. $40 for the pair plus shipping, which it seems to be about $17.50 via priority mail. Their retail price is $45 and up. Basically what you need to turn your dirt bike into a road bike. It would lower your bottom bracket a tad but still cheaper than a whole 650B wheelset.

Brand new, never mounted. This is what happens when you buy tires, put them aside for a year, and when you finally get around to build the wheelset you realize that you ordered the wrong ones...

ok

So I have a road bike and a Trek 820, that I am riding on the road now. If I type the tire info you provided, then it’ll show me a picture of the tire? Would they be to narrow for the Trek 820? Any dry rot at all? Thank ya kindly

I suggest asking the moderators to edit the thread title to show the correct decimal size, which is 26" x 1.125" (559-mm bead seat diameter). 26" x 1 1/8" is an obscure tire size (571-mm BSD) that was used on very few bikes. People may be skipping past the thread for that reason.

abdon meant that replacing larger mountain bike tires with the smaller tires that he's selling would result in reduced ground clearance for the pedals, which would increase the likelihood of scraping them on the ground if you're used to pedaling through corners.

The bottom bracket is the bottom portion of the bike frame. It holds the bearings and spindle for the cranks.
