Bead won't seat around the valvestem

As the title says, I cannot get the bead to sit properly around the valvestem. I bought new tires and I still seem to have a bulge around the valvestem.

Does someone know some sort of trick to this?

Unless your tube is for a much larger tire, this should not be a problem Tubes are sold as 19 to 25 mm size and 23-28 mm or so sizes.
In any event my approach is to push the valve as far into the tire as possible and put the bead into the rim at the valve and then work my
way around the tire. Make sure as you go that the valve is straight. With a short valve (25-35 mm long) the valve will be buried in the
rim/tire almost to the end if you push it as far as you can into the tire. Also assumes usual tubes, ie not 'thorn proof' or such.

Once the tire is mounted pull the valve stem out as much as you can and inflate. Stem will emerge further as tire is inflated.

I tried that, pushing the valve into the tire and remounted it, worked 100% better, now I can see why they call them gator skinz.
Thank you so much for the help. now to go blow this tube up
