I hope he will return here, I was wondering about him and a few others yesterday. Seems that a few regulars have found other outlets for their bike discussions.

Probably a few of us had life get in the way. When I sold the old house in Montpelier two years ago, my riding took a fair hit, my wrenching took a severe hit due to lack of dedicated space. At least I'm back wrenching again and the pace is picking up. I'm starting to feel guilty regarding the Rossin and PX-10 frames that have been sitting since '14, waiting for me to start digging up parts and putting them back on the road - finally.

@sykerocker - don't feel bad. I have 3 frames that have been, at least one, sitting for that long. Two Treks from 1984, a 610 and 760. And my daughters Pinarello. At least the Tandem is built and used even though it is naked!

Aha... I find that my participation in specific forums goes down a lot if I'm not actively doing that hobby. I'm also a member of various electric guitar, tube audio, weightlifting, vintage VW, straight razor, and pipe-smoking discussion forums, and some of them haven't seen me in a while. Perhaps eventually I'll cycle back to some of those hobbies, but who knows...

The last time I built a bike was October of last year, that red Bianchi. I've been riding once since December of last year. Ironically I've lost 25 pounds since I stopped riding, lol.

Just got back into guitars, and then back into old cars. The last month or so I have been going full blast trying to revive a 1970 Ford Torino. As with most old cars it needs mostly everything.,,,,BD

Very, very true. I coach two girls fastpitch softball teams and we're in the middle of 7 straight weekends of tournaments. When I have a free weekend I tend to look for a car show to put my Falcon in. It's all I can do right now to squeeze in a ride every couple of weeks when I'm on a field almost every day of the week. As much as I hate the thought, this will be my last summer coaching. My back issue is just too painful when standing (which you do a lot as a coach). That should allow me time come August to get back on a bike and into shape.

At least I have had a few spare minutes to tweak my Gitane Olympic and Peugeot PX-10 a little more to my liking.
