Old Volpe but Bianchi has been making this model for a long time. It has its share of rust issues; I've seen worse but this will really hurt the value. The suntour stuff on this is OK. I wouldn't pay much above $50 for this. It will take a lot of work to get it running and it won't be worth a heck of a lot when you do.

The decal set is 1988-1989. The 1989 came in black but I'm not sure about 1988. Regardless, the serial number should tell us the month and year of frame manufacture. I might be willing to pay a little more than bigmig but not much. IMO, it's a sub-$100 bicycle.

Nice bike..I had a '96. Bianchi has been making this model since 1986, I think, & still make it today. In good condition, and perhaps a little newer, a Volpe will go $400 or more.
This particular bike..$50, but I'd let someone else take it before me. As a labor of love to restore..someone could end up a very nice, do-everything bike. It'll run 38mm tires, mine did, sweet ride.
