26.6 Record 2-bolt Seat Post Wanted
Found!
Not just any 26.6 Record 2-bolt post... I'm trying to keep my Olmo project as period correct as I can. I'm looking for the older style post with the lettering "CAMPAGNOLO" the same size as the lettering "PATENT". See the example in my photo below. On the newer posts the "CAMPAGNOLO" lettering is noticeably taller than the "PATENT" lettering.
Picky, picky, picky Brent

Trying to impress the concours judges, are we?
I have been looking for a similar era seatpost in a 27.2 that has NOT been polished.

I have a 26.4 and a 26.8, both with the small lettering. Buy them both and average them?

I've got 26.6 but taller letters. Pic for reference of "noticeably taller" because I hadn't noticed.

Ahem, any OLMO from that period, that came with a Campagnolo Record post as part of it's OE, might only be considered "lowly", to a few slightly less well-informed people almost exclusively found in North America... (present company excepted)

I don't know how I missed that one unless it was just listed today.

NP. I have too much stuff, but am somewhat addicted to Craigslist and eBay searching, (especially during lockdown), so it's great to still get that "Score!" feeling vicariously.
