Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes that try too hard to be all matchy-matchy are a no, but the wheels set it all off nicely. I like it. Nice bike indeed.

It was way more matchy matchy (Fizik Arione in Red and Blue).

I'd prefer a flat black wheelset, but the OEM wheels are $1000 1430g units with really nice hubs so im not in a rush. Power meter first.

It really is a nice bike. Much stiffer in all the places you want it to be compared to my Defy. PPF on the downtube and factory chaincatcher. The black is actually matt cleared carbon and you can see the weave and joins underneath. Fits 28c with plenty of room, could go 30-32 at a pinch. Light as a feather at 7.3kg. First bike with Di2 aswell which is as lovely as people told me. Very happy considering i paid 0 out of pocket.

I like that it come with black DA rotors, instead of the silver Ultegra ones.

Agree, shows the company cares and appreciates cycling taste. Silver would have destroyed the look

Vintage just doesn't much do it for me, but I'll make the exception here. Hot.

I like the bike! The blue saves it from the red/black/white yawnfest that are most road bikes. I just can't say a roadbike is hot with SPDs though.

Interesting chainstays Cervelo is doing these days... the upper edge is pretty much on the centre line between hub and BB. Nice way to get cables around the BB and minimise chain slap, I guess.

Many gravel bikes use a design like this because it allows more tire + chainring clearance.

Yeah, was wondering about that too, but my mental 3D modelling wasn't up to it.

Looks like we missed a spot on the bar tape wrap just under the right hood there.

What size bike?

Im not a fan of the overmatched stuff but your bike is way nicer and hotter than mine for sure!
