Initial impressions of my 85 Sequoia

All I can say is WOW. With all the help on here I think it's a winner. Straightened a bent derailleur hanger, cleaned the rear derailleur, new chain, shift cables, brake cables, bar tape and hood. Tuned it up and it rides like a dream.
I really think I like the friction shifting better than the indexed shifting o my other bikes. So smooth and quiet. Although it's a little big for me I'm going to have a hard time selling or trading it. I can still straddle it
flat footed but it's a little close.

Gorgeous!! If you can straddle it, and it's comfortable when riding, you've got a winner. "French Fit" and all of that. It's my size, but you should be the one riding it.
