1' Z4/30" Z5 x 5, 3x. Harder than it sounds. Started cursing my coach's name ~2' into the first interval. Still... maybe next time I'll do 4 of those suckers. Ouch.

Could be. BTW I never did them truly standing, as in track standing, rather a very slow roll.

Did 20 of them today myself. I also do them from a slow roll... I can't even trackstand >_<

Not sure what they do, coach told me to do it so I did it. 5 sets of 4x 10 sec sprints with 50s rest in between.

Rode with 2 cat 2 team mates last night and didn't die, so that's a win.

I also do them from a slight rolling start, just enough to keep me balanced.

And I usually do about 20 of them with 1-3 min. rest in between, depending on the workout.

Yesterday 4/5 crit, 15h/60 and 3/4 crit 25th/66. Forgot to bring food to eat before 3/4 and out of water last 4 laps. This one felt harder since they start 4/5 then 3/4 compared to driveway starts 3/4 then 4/5

Yesterday 3.5 hours with 3x4x2 @ 114% (pain!), then 3.5 @125%, and 8@110% on the commute hills.

Today sat in the fast ride and tried to sprint but moved up the right as the train came up the left, dammit. Rode to work. 3.5 hours again.

400 TSS and I'm ready for a couple days easy!

Just saw this - I was of two minds about that result. On one hand it was 30s faster than my best in September, but it was 10% less power. It was just the first time I "cheated" by actually wearing a skin suit/gluing my number/wearing overshoes/carbon rims/aero road bike. Its kind of stretching the definition of "Merckx" style to the limit. Still, one step closer to my ultimate goal of a 40km/h merckx TT on that course - I think if I can get back to my power from last October and my "pay for speed" gear from this year I have a shot of getting within 20-30s of it .

The sleep deprivation was weird. It didn't hurt to race, I just couldn't turn the cranks like I wanted. Even at the end of the race I felt sleepy and all day I had full-body muscle weakness. Also I'm back to being fat as ****. Cry.
Yeah, yet you've still be more consistent with training than I have and I don't have the incredibly valid excuse of two newborns. It's very impressive that you even showed up to a race after only 2 hours of sleep!

Yesterday I napped instead of riding which was kind of weird but I think I feel better for it. Today I ride slowly.

Training Status: Crappy
Kid #1 : ~6Mo

I did show up to the Wednesday Hammerfest and smashed the sprint by 15 bike lengths, then got dropped 15 miles later when the pace got really high.
2-3 rides a week is enough to keep my high end, but obviously my endurance is lacking.
