Change of bikes for winter
This is really a crazy winter so far. We get snow then rain and warm temps and just can't get into a winter trail riding groove. Today it's 54 degrees and half day Friday and I needed a good ride. Not wanting to do any damage to the trails I broke out the carbon belt drive single speed for some fun. Not the bike I thought I would be riding on the 10th of February, but just have to adjust, thank goodness I have extra bikes.

depending on where I ride, using the road bike is a welcome change of pace. certainly easier to bring up the basement steps! (says this lazy old man)

Old guy & bikes
The street salt is still there, but it’s dry, so I can ride other bikes. I just rinse the tires and inside the fenders on return, with a spray bottle, Over the last few days, I’ve ridden my new (old) MTB and even got down the low racer.

Normally we would have a good bit of snow on the ground which would last until Feb or March but this year not so much. Today’s high is 40, partially sunny with 14 MPH wind. A little challenging wind speed but still a day to go out before the white stuff gets dumped on us.
