New features for IOS 11 for Iphone 6 users: Sluggishness and hard locks.
I've had two hard locks since updating yesterday... everything else is stuck in the mud. Now I remembered why I didn't go Apple.

I hear you on the bed thing though. I got up in the middle of the night to pee and came back to find LoP on his side of the bed and my side of the bed now occupied by the cat. Fortunately, LoP has a better temperament than the cat when awakened and he graciously shared his side with me.

Jake brakes on a bike? You mean riding fixed gear?

LoP sounds like a keeper, even if he is slow.

You can buy a tester to check your outlet after it’s wired to make sure. It runs about 12-15 bucks American. I have four of these outlets in my house installed by a contractor, not an electrician, and three of them were wired incorrectly. They worked like an outlet but weren’t doing the job right.

You really care about this? Do you think TV wrestling is real too? He has a better pharmacist. He's clean until he is not.

The drawback to the Pro One is longevity, but it's supposed to have performance in spades (which I can believe because the S-One is an awesome tire). Hutchinson just doesn't appeal to me, but I don't have personal experience and I don't know why I have no interest (probably because I don't recall seeing any gushing reviews of them). Haven't heard a thing about Bont's.

New commuter build done! This poor frame was headed for the dumptser but I had to save it because a softtail commuter sounds like the best thing ever.
Still need to get a couple of P-clamps in order to fit a rear rack on there, and get rid of the $80 MSRP bars and $120 MSRP stem.
Rides like a dream!

Doing the readings for the first week of my "Biology of Aging" course and they're making me smile with all the explanations of how the "over 50s" can still be creative, productive, physically active, etc and don't need to be put out to pasture just yet. And one of the things I have to read is from the WHO so it's talking about Europe where I would expect them to be much less bound by the "use them up and throw them out" thinking which is still so common in much of the U.S.
