My Ti mini velo project
So, I had some spare parts lying around and an itch to do a build, as well as a couple long standing itches to own a titanium bike and a mini velo. I decided to scratch all three at once and the result is pictured below. The frame and fork were produced by Titanproduct (aka TITANcycles), the same outfit that produced jur's titanium Swift for those of you who followed that thread.

For what it's worth, the bike does have an unusually smooth ride for a small-wheel bike - noticeably smoother than my similarly setup Swift in spite of using skinnier tires.

You can see one of the examples on the Aliexpress page (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Gr-9...8-aeea19c445bb) has a front derailleur and my frame does have the cable guide for it. As with the rear derailleur, cable would run under the bottom bracket.

Curious as to why youd chose that over the CSI?
For me I don't think the frame design would make a difference and the carbon would on the CSI.
Just for asthetics?

Sweet. What size are the wheels? 451?

Actually, I don't know of any channel for getting Tyrell products in the States. In any case, as the OP stated, one of the motivations for doing this was to have a Ti bike, and, yes, part of that consideration is aesthetic - although there are good measurable reasons for liking titanium. I would agree that for forks especially, CF is probably a measurably better choice - but I could have saved some money and just got the frame and a CF fork and still decided I preferred the Ti fork.

Do you mean for the seat stays (that don't end at the seat tube)? The frame is almost identical to the Tyrell PKZ mini velo (Products | Tyrell Bike | ******************************???TYRELL********************? ??? **********?). I don't know what the arrangement is (if any) between Titan and Tyrell, by the way. In any case, according to the Tyrell description, in classic Japanese to English translation, "the unique shape titanium yoke placed on the seat stay attenuates the vibration from the rear wheel moderately. It produces a soft tail effect and you can enjoy a unique riding feeling."
For what it's worth, the bike does have an unusually smooth ride for a small-wheel bike - noticeably smoother than my similarly setup Swift in spite of using skinnier tires.
