Looks interesting. Ant, should fit about 90% of the cranks out there, good stuff. The head unit is sweet looking. We will see.

Will it play music as you're riding along? In stereo? Speakers in the bar ends? This will be good for those that listen to music with earphones (flame on!!)

Pioneer makes some of the best electronics stuff in the world. I have a 60" Pioneer plasma TV and a home theater system. Their Kuro TVs were considered the best TVs ever made until they discontinued them in 2009. They were at the top of the market in price too. So if this power meter does come to market, expect it to be the most expensive power meter available.
I also have a Panasonic bicycle. They should stick to electronics, not a great bike.
