Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My kid wants to be Javy Baez for Halloween. So far, I've raised him right.

Wrigleyville Sports had a one day 50% off jersey sale, which gave me the push to add Shawon Dunston to the cart.

Attention medical professionals. Glucosamine? Snake oil or joint gold? Are they all the same so buy the cheapest? Thoughts would be appreciated.

I tend to be a skeptic.

TIA

Rust or wear out. I prefer to wear out.

I also prefer awesome things in case you (as in everyone) haven't noticed.

Harmless, but probably not effective. Buy the most expensive brand you can find, in order to enhance the placebo effect and any incidental awesomeness.

Which of these would be faster?

https://cruzbike.com/collections/all...s/products/v20

https://www.bacchettabikes.com/trike...arbon-trike-2/

Weight seems about even. The three-wheeled one seems like it would have less frontal area. The two-wheeled one would have less rolling resistance.

Neither has any fairing It seems they would be much more aero with fairing. Of the two, I choose the two wheel version.

Y’know, what often works to reduce inflammatory burden and cool joints off, and this ain’t no woo, is cutting out all refined carbs.

Some studies showed 1500 mg/day effective for knee arthritis. Other studies suggest no benefit. It’s harmless so ok to try. I would have low expectations, though.
