I can scan it, but you'll have to PM me an email address as you cannot send attachments with PMs. My biggest concern is that an irregular heart beat is the first symptom I had leading to the valve replacement. I have had this thing since 1990. That's a while. I will surely have an echo on Monday.

Done that already and my OCD cleaning wife even jumped in and swept the garage floor while I moved stuff away from the walls for her. I’m guessing that it is hiding in something else. There are lots of things in a garage that it could have rolled or bounced into. Either that or alt-Denny in another universe has a 2032 that he wonders where it came from. I still think garage and workroom floors harbor wormholes.

I had my coffee at 3 this morning, and have had no negative effects yet. I fell asleep at 8:30. My life has become fully unstructured(@Velo Vol might approve. Or not). I also finally got the top of my new workbench cleared off, this morning, from the big reorganization of the past couple weeks.

This a good week for me - especially for November. I rode early today in the cold temperatures to spend time with my wife this afternoon. It is 71 now.
What is wrong with me.

It's looking like, for the third year in a row, we might have a holiday season pet casualty. 
Jack, our oldest cat and the first pet that my wife and I got together, took a very sudden and unexpected turn. He was his displaying typical, occasional pickiness with food until he just stopped eating altogether a few days ago. About a month ago, we'd noticed that he'd gotten a little leaner his coat was a little more scraggly, but we chalked that up to his advancing age (~17). When he stopped showing up at meal time, we noticed a more dramatic drop in weight (he's never been much of a lap cat and only accepted affection on the occasions when he sought it out), Looking back, we think that he'd been eating less and less but that was masked by his chubby little sister, who'd been cleaning up his bowls after him. We took him to the vet the day before Thanksgiving and he's been on antibiotics and steroids since, but he hasn't turned a corner yet, and it's looking less likely that he will.
We're obviously upset about the prospect of losing him, but there's the kids, as well. The girl is still too young to wrap her head around it, but this is tough sledding for the boy. Lucy two years ago, Ivy last year and now Jack is ailing. Years ago, when the boy was a toddler and the animals were all in good health, I remember voicing this concern to my wife, that all of the animals were within two years of age with each other, and that they go quickly when they started to go. It's not something that I like being right about.

Was off the back of a frenzied group ride with another guy this summer. He turns to me and says, “I can tell I this aortic valve is leaking ‘cause I’m getting slow. That’s when I droped the hamer.
I think he had his done in October and I assume he’ll be cleaning my clock by the end of the season.

As of the morning weigh-in, I'm at 183. This means that I've gotten through Thanksgiving, aka the first major hurdle of winter fatness, without going backwards. Encouraging, but I have a feeling that the road trip over Christmas/New Year's will be a little more challenging.

I was telling a friend about my lost battery and because he couldn’t believe that it couldn’t be found in my very nice, relatively empty garage, helped me look one more time. After a short but thorough search, the battery has been officially deemed lost.

I managed to get 90% of the new bike put together and somewhat functioning over the holiday weekend. Still have to shorten connect and bleed the brake hoses, center the calipers, wrap the bars. (White of course, because so pro).
This electronicle shifting voodoo is kinda neat. Still playing with adjustments and tweaking. Can't wait to ride it outside.
