Fudgy. You are looking very Froomey in the climbing pics. Not a bad thing... just the way your head moves and being tall.

Finish line at Low Key Hill Climb race on Saturday. It was about a 5 mile climb that had easier sections, some downhill and very steep sections. I was under FTP average power for the ride but developed a new position for arm warmers. You will probably see Fudgy copy it in future races. Photo by Bill Bushnell.

bill made me look like a porceline figurine. love the skinsuit/potbelly/aero helmet look I've got going on!

note: super unwise big-ring cross-chain combo going on. fml about 50 yards past this.

I was really impressed. Parodical means like parody, so Cross kind of fits.

Why does everyone carry the bike like that? It seems like it'd be easier to carry it like normal (Normal for me being lift by the top tube). Is there some advantage to that method?

Yes, not getting the bike caught in other people's bikes, or having it hit you while running. Plus you have a free hand to put down if you need to.

But his hand should be holding the bars like the guy right behind him.

it was...the photog caught me just as I was getting ready to put it down.

ultimately people do what works best for them. We see a few different methods, even from the pros. My shoulders are a little wrecked so Im limited.
