A collection to blow your mind
When my family and I lived in Oregon from 2012-2015. I got the chance to meet a fellow with a quite massive collection through a good friend. I only saw the tip of the iceberg of his stable and can't recall seeing anything like it.
Unfortunately his health isn't the best and his wife doesn't want to be stuck with a massive collection in case anything happens. So I know some folks are not Facebook'ers but a friend is starting to help take photos of everything and post everything in its own page. Do a search for "The Rogue Valley Collection". Prices are not up yet but trust me it's worth taking a look. Last time I spoke with him he was at about 250 and still growing. Lost of US builders and everything from custom tandems, racing trikes, Euro stuff, a bike Lemond won a race on, etc...
He was planning on opening a museum but things didn't pan out and with his health the stars just were not in right position.

Oh not to mention he wouldn't have anything shipped and he would pick it up in person. He'd buy stuff and then pick it up months later and make a round trip of it picking up other bikes he purchased along the way. He bought everything and everything.

Looks like many of the bikes have never been ridden. My wife only lets me keep bikes if I ride them.

might want to reach out to 'American Pickers'. they are into many different things, particularly transportation stuff but also bikes. they tend to like the really old stuff tho. they drive all over the country & just might stop by when they are in the area. I like the show a lot

Jesus... Glad many are not my size as well. That Battaglin with the sloping top tube is unique. I recall his son getting back to making steel bikes:
Battaglin to focus on steel and phase out carbon fiber frames

Someone might want to give them some feedback that presenting the pictures that way on Facebook is really problematic. They need to be organized into albums or something. Right now they are just all together on one page and I can't even load the whole page without blowing up my browser (Chrome, runs out of memory trying to load all the pictures). I'm going to try IE or Firefox.
Edit: IE works much better. Chrome sucks.
