Sturmey-Archer X-RD3 3-speed drum brake hub

I was going to put this on the back of my '80 Raleigh Sports, but after some careful consideration, I'm convinced that an RX-RF5 5-speed would be a better fit for what I want out of the bike - and I don't want to have to respoke the rims twice just to experiment.

Almost everything is here save for the left hand axle nut, cable/cable adjuster, and indicator chain locknut.

That said, I'm willing to do $75 (+$13 USPS Priority shipping) for the hub so I can put the cash towards the 5-speed OR will trade outright for the RX-RF5. Will also throw in the original TSC30 3-speed shifter if the RX-RF5 comes with a DLC-50 trigger shifter.

This is a drum brake hub, you going drum with the 5 speed or not.

I just recently built up a Cruiser with drums front/dyno and rear/5 speed.

Good luck with the sale anyway.

There is no drum on the RX-RF5. I'm going to try to shove a pair of Tektros on the 1980 Raleigh Sports. Should fit with the narrower aluminum rims I have planned, though front fender clearance remains a question. Definitely has to be installed with the front wheel and fender off as well.
