Just inherited old Giant Hybrid... Any idea what it is?
I just inherited this bike. I don't have any information on it. I have looked on the internet and have found nothing like it. I don't know what model it is or how much I should ask if I sell it, since I have no need for another bike. It is in wonderful condition. It was kept inside for its entire life, and there isn't a single scratch on it. So, do you have any idea what it is? Thanks in advance!

Wrong forum, I think you want this posted in the Appraisals forum.
Well, according to the decal.....it's a Giant Brownstone.
Never seen one of these either, but it looks nice. Giant's attempt at a collegiate townie.
Check that front brake cable before you take it for a ride!

Depends where you live. Vintage hybrids go about as cheap as vintage mtbs.

Cute bike! Is that a Suntour XCM rear derailleur? I would suspect this is a '90/91 model which would be before the people at bikepedia think bikes were invented in '93.
I do agree with Work101 hybrids can go cheap. If your in a warmer climate and especially a college town, tune up and cleaned ready to ride you might get $125-150

It looks like the front brake3 cable is routed incorrectly. There should be some type of cable stop/hanger on the stem or handle bar that has been bypassed.
