Exceptional thread; so many marvellous bicycles.
I regret I've none to post, myself.
Three steel bikes handmade in North America, but none 'American'.
My only US-built bike is too new to really fit in here, and built with titanium. Bill Holland (not to be confused with...) did make some beautiful steel frames BITD, though.
I'll snag a nice something to post here one of these days.

Thanks so much, gomango,
It is the only Reynolds 700 bike that I've ever owned or come across. His work was really excellent IMHO.

I'm not familiar with that tubeset.
What do you know about it Bigwoo?
I really admire his work. Great riding bicycles for sure.
Just rode mine this afternoon.

This is from a really old post:
"Thanks to Scooper suggesting that I email Reynolds, I was able to learn the background on the Reynolds 700 Classic tubing that the bike was built with. This was the response:
"Mark,
The Reynolds 700 series was in our range for only a short time 1982 to 1983. It was a concept tube set with 531 main tubes and 753 rear stays/fork in road tube sizes. The 3 main tubes were NOT butted, but had 8 flats running the full length (except seat tube where it was only partial). A very fine machine by the way.
Terry"

I saw a beautiful bike today built by Joel Greenblatt of Clockwork Bikes.
While it wasn't this exact Clockwork bike, its visual appeal really spoke to me.
So many Minneapolis/St. Paul builders to choose from nowadays.

Hans Schneider, local Houston builder. I just acquired this bike and have thoroughly enjoyed both rides that I have been on.
I am not sure what tubing was used as I cannot find any particular tubing decals.
