Bar tape suggestions?
Bought some dropbars and looking for suggestions on what to go with. Mainly ridden on risers, had some purefix foam tape on another bike and didnt care for it. Also, what color would go good?

I've used the Fizik MicroTek on my last 3 sets of bars, love it. Not very soft, but very tough.

As far as feel, I haven't found anything I like more than Cinelli cork.

My favorite is Salsa gel cork tape. Very comfortable, comes in many colors and lasts forever. The only downside is that the stock plugs are really cheap.

All things considered, I think purple would actually look pretty good on the bike with the yellowish chainring and the silver rims.

cinelli gel cork feels great, it's a little thick but does a great job of absorbing vibration from the terrible roads by me.
it is really fragile though. it's not sensitive to wear but it's really soft so it tears if you gouge it (which can happen very easily).

Purple is a possibility... it'd go good with the gun metal and because Lakers.. even though I'm not really a bball fan

deda bar tape was really good in my opnion, just go black cant go wrong, although a dash of white would look good, but the dirt maaaan

Lbs didn't have much to choose from.. ended up going with black Serfas cork tape. .. I'll look around online and order when I find what I want
