Pure City Step Through, any thoughts?
We went to the local bike store to look at getting a bike for my wife. She tried several of them, and this is the one she liked the most (from the few they recommended in her price range):

Has anybody got any experience with this bike or with the brand? The black one looks pretty good. Also, it doesn’t feel super heavy and it was quite comfortable for her.
My wife and I are very new to biking and don’t know much about them. She has a very crappy and heavy second hand bike that she wants to replace. Her budget is $400 (or a little over). Any additional recommendations in the step-through style or similar are appreciated.
She’s a light recreational city biker: short weekend rides by the beach, and perhaps the occasional errand around the neightborhood (it is quite hilly).
Thanks!

My dad has one of these, and is quite happy with it. He had previously gone through a series of cheap box store bikes, and wore them out pretty good. In fact, he got the step-through frame expecting it to be easier to deal with, as he's pushing 90 and isn't as flexible as he once was.
I took a good look at it when I visited, and it seemed like a perfectly legitimate bike. All bikes in this price range, and even higher, are basically a frame and parts sourced from the far east, and this one is no exception. But the parts all seemed decent.
