Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah I eyeballed my intake and it's probably somewhere between 800 and 1000mg/day which is adequate but not optimal if you have osteoporosis or at risk of it. The almonds and broccoli I often eat do help some.

Poor little mousie, now you are going to have to take a supplement and keep your fingers crossed you don't get the dreaded kidney stones. Sad.

I've probably attained that occasionally, but not on a regular basis. Having an ice cream sundae right now.

I’m hyper-calcemic (no parathyroid issues though) and dump tons of calcium in my urine, guess what I get...

Back from a ski jaunt. It was good for the first 40 minutes, then the snow started to stick to the bottom of my skis and it was a drag. I think I need some modern 21st century skis instead of these 40 year old dinosaurs.

I could do that. Should I post hourly, quarter-hourly, or what?

It was actually grocery day regardless. So yes.

Not too concerned, snow blower runs and shovels are ready for the kids. They already closed their school tomorrow (not even any remote)

Yep and I get a bone scan yearly. So far, I'm doing fine osteoporosis-wise. I think my docs are just being cautious and that's OK, I guess.

Don't need a storm for that. It's been time to hunker down for quite a while now.
