Post Your Year-End Figures Here
Yes, this is the place to brag about the number of miles, number of rides, feet climbed during 2013. You're free to add other information of course: weight gained/lost, calories burned(?). Go ahead and list your start of year goals if you're so inclined.
Right now I'm sitting at 3,472 miles, 142,651 feet climbed and 130 rides. I'll update this on January 1 - should hit 3,600 miles and 145,000 feet, but we shall see. I don't feel too bad considering this was my last year of working full time.
The final tally is complete!!!!!!!!
3581 miles
149,077 feet climbing
134 rides
10 days, 6 hours of riding
My only regret: I should have put in another 923' of climbing to get an even 150Kft. No excuse for riding only 134 days other than full-time employment

232 days commuting (workaholic I guess) for about 4000 miles. A bunch more just for fun, and I did get my first organized century ride in May.

Probably not big numbers in present company, but I'm happy to say I have logged 20,021 miles on my Garmin handlebar computer since I retired exactly 4 years ago. All ridden on my classic & vintage bikes.
I've been riding since 1971 but had a 10-year dry spell when raising kids.
I had fun this year, too!

2486+ miles since 8/11/13 when I got the Map my Ride App, and then figured out how to mount the iPhone to the bike.

I got back on my mountain bike at the beginning of June this year and have managed 68 rides totalling 1254 miles, mainly road, and I've loved nearly every minute of it . Hoping to stick to 200 a month or 2,400 a year from now on.

Currently sitting at 8264 miles. Not bad for an old guy with a bad heart Haven't been on my bike since the 2nd of this month as I had an ICD implant done on the 3rd and my doc told me to stay off the bike for 6 to 8 weeks. HOWEVER, at my last appointment she told me that since things are going well I should be able to ride at the 4 week mark…. as long as I promised NOT to fall off the bike. Because of that I'm planning on a short ride on the 31st. I have to tell you that walking is MUCH harder on my knees…..

My first time in 20+ years with no century ride, not even a metric century. Like Dudel, I did have fun, but nothing to brag about. Life corrections should resolve some of the issues for 2014.
edit: reduced the fleet by 7 vintage rides, with few regrets as they went to 3 good new owners.

My mileage is in my signature. I had 268 rides, as of today. Don't know if I would have broken 10,000 had I rode most of those missed days. I did have a great riding year with no injuries. Hoping to do at least the same for next year.
Edit: Should have remembered that PedalMyBike resets on January 1. Duh! Official mileage is 8,930.45 miles

I just returned from Florida visiting my elderly Mom. She's in Tarpon Springs. I flew into and out of Tampa . . . Your signature puts you in the Tampa area. I'm just curious where you ride and what type of roads you find to ride on. The area really looked like a bike unfriendly place. Obviously both my time and exposure to the range of opportunities is limited, but it really didn't seem like a good place to be a road rider.

More miles than last year, fewer miles than next year. Unless something goes wrong, of course.

4217 miles riding in 271 hours for a 15.5 mph avg.
Another 300 miles on stationary bikes at the YMCA.
300 miles jogging. I busted a toe really bad 3 nights before a half marathon in October. I had to skip it and another one the next week. The toe is just now feeling OK. Fortunately riding didn't bother it much.

8125 miles this year. First full year of retirement. This mileage is thousands of miles more than any previous year.

In the Tampa area there is the Upper Tampa Bay Trail and on the other side of the county (where I live) is Flatwoods Park. Flatwoods is closed to vehicle traffic and there are no forced stops like most MUPs. There are many roads that are safe to ride on but too far from my house so I stick with riding at Flatwoods unless it's a club or group ride.
