Cemoto E08 Electric Folding ebike

I found this little gem Cemoto E08 Folding ebike that is getting very popular especially for people who are traveling or on the go. The price is very affordable and the specs are impressive! Any inputs or comments welcome.

I have a Cemoto step thru . It is a well made bike for the price. I have made some changes to the bike, but these have been for my enjoyment nothing that the bike needed

I have the Cemoto full size folding bike and it's absolutely a well made solid bike! I have no doubt this Cemoto E08 folding bike will be on par with the rest of their fleet.

I have switched this bike to a 1500 watt hub motor run on a 48volt battery.
On the bench it runs to 76km's . Under load somewhere around 50. This was a further upgrade from a 750 watt 36volt setup. This may be a little over the top, but there's a guy down my street who has a gas powered bicycle, and he has been buggin me.

31 miles per hour is very fast for an ebike. You should be able to beat your neighbor's gas bike if it's one of those 48 or 66cc China doll motor. They usually top off at around 29-30 miles per hour.

I prefer your cemoto electric folding mountain bike. I guess the larger wheels get me.

I LOVE my Cemoto full size folding bike and now that I've added a rear rack, the ability to upgrade are endless! Bigger battery, controller and motor if I desire but I haven't felt the need yet.
This Cemoto E08 are useful for travelers to explore their surroundings.

Recently there have been a few new 20" wheeled folding bikes that have been announced. The ebike selection, especially in the folding commuter models, is finally taking off. And as prices drop my options increase. Especially since I'll be moving soon, and I'll REQUIRE an ebike to get me to the LIRR reliably.

I'm getting older, and I'll be damned if I let being tired keep me from riding. But my occupation is quite physically taxing (I'm a Track Worker/Inspector), and we're usually dead tired by the end of the (sometimes 12+ hour) workdays. An ebike will no longer be a luxury item in my case. The car must remain with the Mrs,...

The really cool thing about these 20" wheel folding ebikes is their ability to climb hills. The smaller wheels allow more torque to be used and it climbs better than 26 or 29in wheels with same motor & battery setup. I'm still riding my ebikes for recreational purpose but maybe someday will make it my commuter.
Either way, they are fun to ride!

I've commuted to work where I live now. It will be IMPOSSIBLE once I move to L.I., NY. More than 65 miles, one way. Multi modal are the words.
