Is my cyclone front derailleur salvageable? pics

On my rainy commute to work today, I was attempting to shift down with my front derailleur and noticed it wasn't shifting right. I tried again because the chain was rubbing and when I looked down, the derailleur was twisted. It was either loose and my shifting made it slip, or somehow it broke and that caused the loosening. Here are some pictures. I'm wondering if there was a part where the derailleur joins together on the other side of th bike that fell off. I'm curious if anyone knows if the derailleur is still serviceable (should I try to get it back together for the ride home) or if it won't work (call my wife to pick me up).
Thanks!
(Hopefully the pictures are ok. Had to take them with my phone from work)

The derailleur was loose and those two parts were still joined together, but it almost looks like some other part was lost that stabilized them ?

Sounds like it's shot. Maybe I'll just take it off and ride home without a front der.

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

FD clamps aren't fixable at a cost anything close to what a replacement would cost. Buy a new one. To five you a basis of comparisson, I could sell you an brand new (in the box) Superbe Pro for $40.00, and there are lots of modern FDs out there for less than that.
