Like Carfree, I can ride a lot of different saddles in reasonable comfort.

I've used the men's Terry Fly on the long distance bikes for years and years. I'm thinking of moving on to something else, because the leather covers are paper thin and wear out too quickly.

E3 Form saddle for commuting. It's hard as a rock, but since I'm on it only an hour at a time, that's not an issue. It also toughens up the rear end for the longer rides.

Disco has some kind of Forte saddle, and oddly enough, it's pretty darn comfortable.

I found the best saddle for me was the 4ZA Cirrus. Then I lost 5 kg. and it is not as comfortable anymore, oh well.

Right now, whatever came stock on the new Roubaix. For now. If it doesn't work out the Brooks C17 goes back.

I have a barest of seats, sparse cushioning, carbon rails, and a scant 120g - Selle Italia SLR Carbonio Flow S2. But good for 6-7 hours on the saddle over a century.

Love the pic. Makes me homesick, though!

Some years ago I got lucky and found a cheap Forte saddle that just worked beautifully for me. They are no longer made but a standing search on ebay keeps me well stocked for all my bikes. I'd share the exact model except I don't need the extra competition on ebay.

Both of my bikes had a Brooks B17 narrow and they were fine for about a year. I started getting saddle sores in between my groin and leg junction and I couldn't find the cause even after riding in my different riding shorts. I switched back to Fizik Aliante that I had on both bikes and haven't had any other saddle sore issues since.

I think mine is the SLI model. No carbon rails and definately a tad more padding.
Not sure the weight but probably more than double the SLR Carbonio.

Fizik Aliante under my rear. Like you I had a Giant Connect and it never did break in or fit. This new one works well. Can go for longer periods before the cheeks need a break. That would be the same for any saddle I reckon.

This one suits long rides.
Long and fairly narrow with some center relief.

On the Selle Anatomica - the jury is still out for me.
Better than the B17 someone convinced me to buy ages ago.
The cockpit on this bike has been lengthened so the SA saddle gets a new trial, and maybe a lower nose.

edit: Selle Anatomica on Mondia Super. before lowering nose a very small amount.

I use three B17 saddles on 3 different bicycles. My GTO trike does not accept a B17 without significant mods

WTB Pure V. A friend suggested it for my mountain bike. I liked it so much I pulled the 20+ year old Brooks Team Pro off my road bike and installed a Pure V.

I have Selle Anatomica on the two bikes I ride on long distance (century and double-century) rides and have found them the most comfortable overall.

On my commuter bike I have a Selle Italia SMP 209 which I used to have on my doubles bike but moved it to the commuter when I got the 2nd Selle Anatomica. Just fine for the 20 to 24 miles (depending on route) of my commute.

My touring bike and my fixed gear both have Brooks saddles (full leather) and my mountain bike has a Serfas.

The outer layer on my Giant Escape 1 saddle was cracking so I decided to get something different. My LBS had a WTB Speed Pro Gel in stock that was recommended. So far it has been fine.

Fizik Kurve on my Infinito.

Fizik Alliante on my steel resto mod.

Charge on my Cdale.

Brooks B66 on Rudge 3 speed.

All work well for the given applications. Do really like the Fizik saddles.
