Oh shenanigans I saw the muscat classic but missed the Oman tour!? It's shaping up to be a good one, but I wouldn't have picked anyone correctly.

Goodness Lamperti is killing it!!!!!! Also ridiculous to see Kristoff in top ten. Then Lazkano in that Spanish one day ... Oh my classics season going to be good!

It's an odd mix of what is and isn't available on Discovery + or Peacock. And what makes the cut in Velogames.

In our BF VG therapy group (Hi, I'm slcbob and I'm a veloholic) the stalwarts are gathered for Oman. I am temporarily the cream of the crap in our little league, but barely cresting the top of the bell curve overall, perhaps breaking into the top 49.7% of the general population. I think we're all getting some base miles in the legs and base picks in the brain, building for the meat of the program further down the road.

I briefly flirted with glory in Oman but was pipped at the top of Green Mountain by canam73 and our Adam the stage and GC winner. Another stage race victory has The Bounty regaining the lead from diphthong and almost over the horizon from the rest of us scurvy dogs in the early season series.

Just to make the year a little more interesting, I'll spot y'all Strade Bianchi and be chasing Superclasico all season.

Welcome to the Lake Woebegone bike forums, where all of the children are above average.

I am tootling along in the middle of the pack in the general population, looking at the rest of you riding away. Keep up the good work, lads.

Thank you. Not sure that I'm picking in any different way than past seasons. But so far I've been blessed with all my riders finishing races. Last year I was lucky to limp in with 7 in the typical stage race.

Reversion to the mean feels inevitable.
