Trek Police Electric

Anybody got one? Quality? Review? Value?
i bought a 2001 Trek Police bike new, for personal use. At 69, my legs are having a hard time getting up steep hills. I’m giving consideration to a new Trek Police. My experience with the current bike has been very satisfying, it is rugged and well built. In 2001 the aluminum frame was made in America. That’s not the case anymore.

For $4k it should be pretty good.

But there are a lot of ebikes at that price point, and you might want to look at them, as well.

My ebike has a 275 watt motor, which is a bit cheaper, and plenty of power to get up hills. I am also 69.

I don't think a regular citizen can buy the police bike, in that dealer's aren't supposed to sell it to non-police.
