Next stop, stratosphere.

I understand there's some cachet for these particular pedal models, but how much of it is a bubble?

NOS Suntour XCII bear trap pedals, 9/16 spindle.

These are bid up to $217 with over a day remaining. 💀

BMX 20” Bike

Great Condition!

I absolutely LOVE the delta between the fork's new position and the front brake! Couldn't be more obvious.

I'd like to see anyone use this freewheel for touring on anything but dead flat pavement with a tailwind.

Seller's copy:
"SHIMANO 13-21 FREEWHEEL 6 SPEED 600 ROAD TOURING COGS VINTAGE" Touring? I don't think so.

Los Angeles is wacky.

He should post a picture of himself too, shouldn't he? I mean, this really is a plea for a girlfriend, right?

And I am assuming "his" gender as I'm extremely skeptical that a woman is making this offer.

What smells stronger, the chlorine in the pool or the scam in the ad itself?

You are both correct in your assessments but I would amend girlfriend with a substitution and as they say in Denmark....something smells a little fishy .

Yet another spelling for Schwinn, which this bike obviously is not. A fairly rare (in this country) Raleigh Glider and...it's a 3 speep!

so what would an old Silca Imperial be worth? it has a campy tip, and its the type that fits right up into the seatube-toptube joint without needing brackets, on a 24" frame? its very well used but still quite functional. black with a aluminum handle area.

Hey,
Do you have any idea how many of us got our intro to drop bars, and toe clips on those "BOS" (in the sixties). I'm not arguing about value, but please show a little respect...
We felt pretty dang swift, compared to the guy we just passed, riding a Schwinn Varsity...

Yep, my first "10 speed" too. A white UO-10 I think it was. The der eventually snapped, the brakes made that purring noise against the ridged rim but didn't stop worth a damn in the rain. No toe clips though.

Actually a nice bike at a decent price for the "new toilet paper" bike economy. It's the film-noir / Weegee-crime-scene / mug-shot / brooding-post-apocalypse photography that I find amusing. For more information, text Dieter.

Looks like a late '80s Trek hybrid frame. Notice how the rear wheel is conveniently out of the picture frame....
