Addiction LXXVIII

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

When I started lurking here in 2016. Pcad was already scarce but he was around enough for me to get a sense of his personality. I also read about half of the first Addiction thread.

Forgive me if this seems inappropriate but speaking for all of us and Pcad; 2020 can blow me.

My private practice gave up the ghost, and I'm working for the VA and loving it, (COVID aside). I got remarried in 2016 and am the dad to a teenage girl (who alternates between being the best person in the world and driving me insane). So my life is blessed.

See you in another 4 yrs.

I know. I’ve been resigned to the fact for quite some time to be honest. Luckily my wife’s work is still remote, but come fall she may have to start going in the office too, and if that happens it would be quite difficult to have two working adults in the house with two non-school going kids.

Really nice to see the "old timers" come back and pay respects to Pcad.

Thank you all.
