Got to meet both when I lived back in the Rogue Valley. Mike I became very good friends with and John came into the shop I was working at and got him to sign my Jan Heine "The Competition Bicycle" book for Hampsten bike and told us the story about the bike. Very cool experience and very cool bike. Johns paint jobs are an acquired taste. Lol.
