Oregon two day ride

Hi All,
Looking for any suggestions for a two day ride in oregon. Something similar to the STP. Tired of doing that ride and would like to try something new. Any thoughts? Thanks

I've been eyeing up this route for a while:

Old West Scenic Bikeway - Ride Oregon Ride

It can be ridden in 2 days, but apart from that, don't think it would be much like the STP.

3 Days?

Crater Lake has a couple of "Vehicle Free Days" coming up.
https://home.nps.gov/crla/planyourvi...-rim-drive.htm

I'm planning on heading up there whichever weekend it isn't raining. One day up, one day around the lake, and one day back. At least that is the plan.

I've driven the road from Dorena to Steamboat, but it has been quite some time. So, I'm headed into the Forest Service to confirm suitability of Road vs Gravel bikes on the road.

It will likely be a pretty brutal day of climbing, but the return trip should be quick.

Here's a ride from Eugene to a campground near Reedsport and then back again. Nice low-traffic route, but no services so you're totally on your own. There's not even cell coverage from two miles up Wolf Creek Rd to darn near the coast. Either carry the water you need or bring a filter (abundant creeks and weeping walls to go with those rivers). You'll have to reverse the second one to get home. Lots more climbing on these rides than STP, but it's hard to find low-traffic roads that are flat. Besides, who wants to ride flat roads? (Says the guy who lived in pancake-flat Davis for two decades and rode flat stuff daily.)

Eugene to Reedsport via Clay Creek Campground in Eugene, OR, United States | MapMyRide

Eugene OR to Tugman State Park, Reedsport in Eugene, OR, United States | MapMyRide

If that sort of thing interests you, there's many other loops in the O&C lands that make up the heart of those rides. If you want some gravel, that's available in abundance as well. Also, there's other options for getting out to Wolf Creek Rd rather than doing all of Crow Rd. (Crow Rd will have more traffic than the rest of the ride, but even that's not bad most of the time, especially compared to what you deal with on STP.)

How many miles do you want to ride a day? Are you wanting hills or flat terrain? Supported or self supported? When do you want to do this ride?

thanks all. So looking at like maybe 75-100 miles each day. Not to worried about the terrain and yes something that is supported. As for the timing, July and or August would be good.

I hear the Cycle Oregon weekend ride is really nice.

I haven't done many supported rides, but know of many excellent one day events. This one is a small event in the middle if nowhere with excellent routes - Tour De Fronds

Friends have told me the Oregon Gran Fondo is an excellent set of events. There's also some excellent multi-day mountain bike events in Oregon if you like to ride trails.

Here's a list of some supported rides, but there's some good ones not included.

Haha as an STP rider I rode my fat-bike this year just to make it interesting.

A bunch of created our own mini-group ride as in back to back metrics. We'll ride from Long Beach to Westport via 30 and some side roads, take the ferry, hang out and in the yurts at Elochaman Marina then come back next day via 4 and 101. We call it the ORB (Ocean River Bay...big ocean-Pacific, big river-Columbia, big bay-Willapa) and it's got some fun features: tunnel, long bridge, ferry ride, covered bridge, great scenery, back roads, a gravel hill climb, 2 750' coastal hills, a wildlife refuge, state & nat'l park, finishes on Discovery Trail and has many punchy climbs that equate to 10K feet total in 132 miles. Oh yes, a nice brewery near the marina 'cause beer. A fall ride, late September. Sorta supported in that we'll cram important stuff into a Suburban and send it ahead day before.
