It seems like a movie built around a 22 stage L'Eroica. Phil Keoghan Le Ride

I saw this advertised and I'd love to go. Unfortunately it's on a weeknight at 1830 90 miles from where I live.

This is at least the second time around they've shown this. I didn't go to the last one a month or two back but it did show in Vancouver. I've signed up for this round, though it is still pending. Website says it will show if at least 16 tickets are sold. But no, I'm not planning to buy 15 more tickets...

Quite the mish-mash of unrelated-to-cycling sponsors!

I saw this a few months ago at a limited screening. I think it is worth seeing. Don't expect a faithful recreation of the ride. But it still makes you marvel all the more at the riders "back in the day".

This film is the exact concept in the book Gironimo, by Tim Moore. Gironimo is the based on the 1914 Giro d'Italia where 81 riders started ans 8 finished the race. I hope the Le Ride folks give Tim Moore credit. Read this book if you can't see the film, it's the same story.
I have tickets to see the film in Eugene, should be a fun night out with bike friends.

I enjoyed this film last evening at the Cineplex in Eugene, we filled the theater to about 80% capacity! The film was in part the story of 3 Australian and 1 New Zealand riders who traveled to France to ride the Tour de France in 1928. They had a remarkable amount of film footage of these guys, so it was fun to see so much of the race. The other part of the film was two riders recreating the 1928 route on 1928 bicycles. Le Ride was really well done and a lot more fun than I expected it to be. This was a one time screening via satellite feed, but it is well worth seeing if you get another chance. The 4 man Aussie team gutted it out and finished the race, remarkable achievement and a great story told. The modern team also gutted out their ride on the old bikes, also fun!

Saw it myself at the Regal Theater in Lanesboro, MA. Near capacity audience. Looked like a lot of the area cycle enthusiasts were there.
Much of the inspiration for the movie came from the book Mile Eater by the Kennett brothers about the New Zealander Harry Watson. Le Ride - the Harry Watson story - Roadcycling.co.nz The other three members of the 4-man Australasian team came from Australia.
They were a very gutsy group who are long overdue for some much deserved credit for their amazing achievement. The movie does them justice.

Yep, great show. Took wife and she enjoyed it also. Was sold out in Lanesboro, ended up going to Hartford, but worth the trip. KB
