Alta Alpina training advice?
Considering this for this year.
Any suggestions for dealing with altitude? - I live at sea level.

In the USMC, we were told to exercise with a gas mask on to simulate high altitude training. Other than that, I got nothing.

I have done the ride a couple times. Just do lots of climbing, for example, 3 Mt Diablo repeats, which will also mean you get to ride during the hottest part of the day. The ride is not at high enough altitude to cause problems for most people, just getting up to 9,000ft at the passes. You will probably have a slight reduction in power, so you will be a little slower.
