Just to pull this back from the dead...
'94 converted to drop bar and setup for light touring/commuting/pint rides (working on getting more appropriate wheels). Shimano 105 (5800) with a 46/33 front (had to find a 33t small ring to get chainstay clearance) and 11-32 in the rear, salsa cowchipper 2 bars, and the nice cushy original saddle. Loving the ride.

Great thread. I really like these older Multi Tracks, and I'm always on the lookout for a good one at a good price.
Do the 730 and 750 share the same geometry?

I had a multi track 750 that was mint, tru temper frame, deep dark blue. Paid $20 in a thrift, and like a fool I sold it. I still get angry at myself for selling that bike. I sold it for $180. Did nothing to it. Duh. (I know somebody is going to say now if it's presented properly I should have got $600+ crazies)

The light blue, and the white and red lettering 750's posted above are Tru Temper Frames. The light blue one looks almost like the one I had. And minty to.
