Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

There was a gravel race in town this weekend. Being totally out of shape and owning no such thing as a gravel bike, I did not participate. However, my wife thought it looked really cool and said she would be interested in trying that, since she does not like the idea of riding on the road. Being the enabler that I am, I told her I fully supported that desire and that she should most definitely get a gravel bike. Two days later, I have ordered a Cannondale Topsoil for her. My guess is that she will use it twice, lose interest, and then I will inherit a gravel bike.

Power has been staying on, but the elevators are not working. Wonder how many on the second and third floors will skip going out for lunch.

I wish it was pink, or any other color for that matter. Unfortunately, it is one of those MURDERED OUT monstrosities. Oh well, maybe I will add some stickers to it or something.

Sadly, I fear they weren't awesome Marigold jackets.

They got permanently thin blood. If I lived there I would want to spend my winters in Flagstaff.

Same as below? I assumed that the model below was Chinese as I took the picture while there. At the time I was looking for a new road bike, posted the below to some friends and said it wasn't on my short list as I didn't want a crappy Chinese bike. Seems I was in error - and yes my BMC was likely made in China.
