On Board Air Filtering System

A group of students in Vietnam have invented an air-filtering device for bicycles, to save them having to wear anti-pollution face masks on their journey to school, reports Viet Nam News.
Quite interesting, especially if one cycles in an area with higher pollution levels. Good job kids!

The device is connected with six small fans installed on two sides of the front wheel. These fans help to blow clean air to riders’ face while creating power for the battery which is used to create power for the filter.

The fans are powered by battery, and the battery is charged by the fans? Sounds like another great perpetual motion machine.

wouldn't the mask be a lot lighter in weight and dependent upon a battery? sorry, that idea seems a bit crazy if you ask me.
